At 18, tracesofsound started making the drive from Fort Wayne, Indiana up to Chicago every weekend, chasing underground raves across the city. What began as a pilgrimage turned into an obsession — and the obsession turned into a decision to get behind the decks.

Immersed in Chicago's underground scene, tracesofsound built real relationships with the people running it, and landed first club gigs in the city before ever having a real foothold there. Since then, they've played for some of Chicago's most respected collectives — including Redline Chicago and Techno & Espresso — and clubs such as Sound-Bar and Electric Hotel.

Now 21, tracesofsound runs IntersectEventsFW, a 140–160 BPM bass techno and hardstyle collective based in their hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana — three shows in, all three sold out. The reach is already growing past state lines — most recently a booking in Cincinnati for Technically Illegal.

IntersectEventsFW is tracesofsound's own events collective, based in their hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. A 140–160 BPM bass techno and hardstyle collective, IntersectEventsFW is bringing hard dance to a small town — three shows in, all three sold out.

The collective is rapidly growing into one of the biggest party promotions in Fort Wayne, branching out and pulling crowds in from LA, New York, Chicago, and beyond.
